Running through the heart of Benton, the Saline River is one of the best kept secrets in Central Arkansas. Its gentle waters run quietly through beautiful forests, fields and farmlands. Much of the undeveloped land along its banks is protected and accessible only by canoe. This nature-lover’s paradise offers fishing, wildlife sightings, picnics, swimming and more.
Your rental includes your boat, paddles, vests and shuttle to the put in. Paul Wright to Lyle Park is approximately 9 miles and can be floated in around 4 hours.
To begin your adventure—arrive and park at Lyle Park at least 15 minutes before departure time then come over to Saline River Canoe and sign in. Our friendly staff will load your gear and take you to Paul Wright. You will conveniently float back to Lyle Park.
You can bring an ice chest according to the boating laws your ice chest needs to be able to lock, also no glass bottles and all canned drinks in a koozie. A mesh litter trash bag will be provided by Saline River Canoe.
Other items to bring: water, ice, snacks, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, bug spray, dry box, water shoes, fishing poles, etc.
Children ages 5 and up are welcome to join you on your adventure with parent/guardian signature on release form.
